STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY vs ON LOCATION
When you choose to work with Tom Hollow, photographer & film-maker, you have the adaptability to capture stills photography & video in studio or on-location. For studio productions; studio flash / constant lighting packages are available. For on-location productions; portable battery powered flash / constant lighting packages are available, in addition, portable background cyclorama options are available enabling the ability to create a studio background anywhere in the world.
STUDIO LIGHTING PACKAGES
A variety of studio flash lighting packs are available, priced as half day / full day rates. A typical flash lighting pack includes 4-6 studio flash bulbs and 4-6 soft boxes. Brands of lighting equipment and grip equipment includes; Broncolour, Profoto, Godox, and Arri. With over 8 years of studio flash lighting experience on commercial studio campaigns, tv & film sets, and video productions - Tom Hollow specialises in delivering high quality studio photography and video production.
STUDIO LIVE REVIEW
The option to review images live, as they’re captured, is available when you book Tom Hollow, commercial studio photographer & videographer. A high resolution apple 16” macbook pro screen is used to process images in real time, allowing the viewer to make selects and cull images on the go. This process ensures all parties can review sharpness, crop, and creative direction in the moment. Studio Live Review options are priced as half day / full day rates.
PORTABLE STUDIO BACKGROUND
A portable studio background / paper cyclorama (otherwise known as a “cyc”) is a great option when shooting on-location or you have the need for a specific colour background. A portable background creates a 3m x 2.4m solid colour background, anywhere, at any time. This is portable studio background is popular for on-location commercial campaigns and tv + film productions, allowing for both on-location content and high quality studio stills and video in the same place at the same time.
